I immigrated from Cork City, Ireland to Martha's Vineyard in 1986. I've worked with and for local potters and ceramic teachers for more than eighteen years. My work is inspired by Celtic lore, the sea and a love for all things equestrian. Beyond equine themes, I have devoted much of my work to Celtic revival. The Island is incorporated into much of my work, using ocean-colored glazes that I create myself.
